A spacious two-storey private duplex designed for upscale family living in Umuajala Umunnekwu Agbor, Isuikwuato LGA — featuring four bedrooms, a master suite, a dedicated family lounge, a bar, gallery landing, and balcony, all arranged across two well-resolved floors.

Project Description

The Agu Chibuike Duplex is a proposed two-storey detached residence set within Umuajala Umunnekwu Agbor in Isuikwuato LGA, Abia State. The design makes a confident statement about contemporary Nigerian family living — generous in scale, thoughtful in its planning, and attentive to the details that elevate a house into a home.

The ground floor is anchored by a broad living room that flows naturally into a dining area, with a dedicated bar space adding a distinctive social character rarely found in residential design of this typology. The kitchen and store are positioned efficiently at the rear, while four bedrooms on this level — each with its own bathroom — provide ample private accommodation for family members or guests. A lobby, visitors’ WC, and a verandah complete the ground floor, ensuring that arrival and everyday movement through the house feel considered and comfortable.

The first floor builds on this foundation with a more intimate, private quality. A family lounge serves as the heart of the upper level — a shared retreat away from the more public ground floor — while a master bedroom suite, two additional bedrooms, and three bathroom facilities provide generous sleeping accommodation. A gallery landing overlooks the void below, creating a dramatic sense of vertical connection between the floors, and a balcony extends the upper living experience outward to the landscape beyond.

Throughout both levels, the building is detailed with robust, durable materials: sandcrete hollow block walls, a long-span aluminium roof on a hardwood timber frame, PVC ceilings, and full-height aluminium casement windows with tinted glazing and mosquito netting. An aluminium sliding door adds a refined touch at the first floor level, blurring the boundary between the interior and the balcony.
